Getting started

Create your account

StaqOn signs you in with a 6-digit MPIN — no passwords to remember.

  1. Enter your full name and email, then tap Continue.
  2. We email you a 6-digit code — type it in to verify your email.
  3. Choose your 6-digit MPIN and confirm it. That's your quick sign-in code from now on.

Next time you sign in, just enter your email and MPIN. Forgot it? Use Forgot MPIN? on the sign-in screen to reset it by email.

Create your business (workspace)

A workspace is your company's home in StaqOn. The setup wizard takes three quick steps:

  1. Name your workspace — usually your company or team name. You'll also get a short workspace link.
  2. Tell us about your team — team size and industry, so StaqOn fits you better.
  3. Create your first team — give it a name and tap Launch workspace.

You can start a new workspace any time from Create business on your dashboard, or from the workspace switcher at the top.

Teams: internal and external

Teams are how you organise your people. When you create a team, you pick a type:

Internal teams appear under Teams in the sidebar; partner teams appear under External.

Invite people

There are a few ways to bring people in, depending on who they are:

Start a direct message

In the sidebar under Direct messages, tap New message, choose the person under To, and tap Start. Your private one-to-one chat opens straight away.

Messaging

Mention someone

Type @ in the message box to mention people. StaqOn shows the people relevant to that chat — pick a name to notify them. Choose @everyone to notify everyone in the conversation. (Mentions aren't used in one-to-one direct messages.)

React to a message

Hover over a message and tap the 😊 button to add an emoji reaction. Reactions are permanent — once added, they stay.

More actions

Hover over a message and tap for more actions:

Share a message

Choose Share from the menu. Add an optional comment, then send it to an Internal team, an External team, or a specific Member. To send it outside StaqOn, use Copy, WhatsApp or Telegram.

Broadcast to partners

In an external team, 📢 Broadcast to all sends one message to every partner at once — each receives it in their own private thread. Broadcasting is available to the people who handle that external team. It isn't used on internal teams.

Announcements

A workspace owner or admin can post an Announcement — a one-way message to the whole workspace. Everyone else sees announcements but doesn't post them.

Notifications

Open Account settings → Notifications to control how StaqOn alerts you.

Master switch

Enable notifications turns all alerts on or off across web and mobile. Leave it on to stay updated.

Browser notifications

To get desktop pop-ups even when StaqOn is closed in the background, allow notifications in your browser:

1. In this browser: click the lock / site-info icon in the address bar → Site settingsNotificationsAllow, then reload.

2. In Windows: press Win + ISystemNotifications → make sure your browser is On, and turn off Focus assist / Do not disturb (the most common silent blocker).

2. In macOS: System SettingsNotifications → your browser → Allow notifications (style Banners or Alerts), and check Focus / Do Not Disturb isn't on.

Tap Send test notification to check it's working. If notifications ever stop arriving, tap Fix it to restore them.

Message preferences

Fine-tune what alerts you and when, then tap Save preferences:

Account & settings

Open Account settings from the menu at the top. You'll see these tabs (some appear depending on your role):

Notifications on Android

Android phones aggressively pause background apps to save battery — this can silence any messaging app, StaqOn included. To make sure alerts always come through:

  1. Open your phone's SettingsAppsStaqOnBattery.
  2. Set it to Unrestricted (wording varies by phone).
  3. Turn off any “auto-manage” or deep-sleep option for StaqOn.

Steps differ by brand (Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Samsung and others). For exact steps for your phone, see dontkillmyapp.com.

Troubleshooting

I'm not getting notifications on my computer

  1. Go to Account settings → Notifications and make sure Enable notifications is on.
  2. Allow the browser notification prompt (see Browser notifications).
  3. Turn off Focus / Do Not Disturb on your computer.
  4. Tap Fix it in the Notifications tab, then Send test notification.
